DreamWorks Pictures and Tanger Outlet Centers took advantage of the "sizzle" surrounding the openings of the movies Shrek 2 and Shark Tale by inviting shoppers to play interactive on-line games for the chance to win big cash prizes.
Hundreds of thousands of customers visited Tanger Outlet Center's website to play on-line shopping games for the chance to win $25,000 and movie prizes.
Tanger Outlets also promoted a nationwide Fortune Hunter Scratch Card promotion where every card was a possible winner of a cash prize. Scratching off the correct 5 squares paid off big time for lucky customers and Tanger Outlet Centers. When they had big cash prize winners, Tanger Outlet's Cash Prize Coverage paid off the cash prizes for them.
Mike Buescher, National Director of Promotions for Tanger Outlet Centers has been very pleased with the results:
"Nunes and Associates has been a key promotional partner for Tanger Outlet Centers for more than 10 years. The national scratch card and online games are some of the most successful promotions that we have done.
Having a $500 winner and even a $5,000 winner was a big thrill for us and our shoppers. Each program is professionally designed and the staff at Nunes and Associates worked closely with us from start to finish to insure that each program runs smoothly.
I highly recommend Nunes and Associates. Tanger Outlet Centers definitely plan to continue our promotional partnership in the future."

 WINNING PROMOTION AT THE MALL.
At the newly renovated Mountain View Mall, visitors had a chance to take home a new Honda Insight.....by winning "Santa’s Cookie Toss". The contest was sponsored by a partnership including the mall, Bob Thomas Honda, KTWS 98.3 FM, along with marketing firm Nunes and Associates utilizing Cash Prize Coverage.
KTWS told listeners to visit the mall to register to participate in the contest to "Toss Their Cookies" for the chance to win a new car. Once a day, the radio station would feature their listener promotion by drawing a contestant’s name and announcing it on the air. That person had 98 seconds to call the station, which would qualify them to one of 15 contestants to take part in the Cookie Toss. During the three weeks prior to the competition, 14 contestants were selected. To increase people attendance on the day of the event, 1 final contestant was selected from the crowd that day.
The cheering crowd encouraged each contestant as they stepped up for their chance to toss an Oreo cookie into a bowl filled with milk. The crowd's cheers became a roar as the 11th contestant to try, Tod Boucher of Bend, watched his cookie splash into the bowl to win the car.
It was a big success all the way around. The mall got a huge traffic promotion for a small price. The radio station had a big listener promotion. And the dealer won "big time" with exposure on air...and at the mall...plus when the Tod's cookie landed in the bowl of milk...Bob Thomas Honda received a big check to pay for the car that they gave away.
